    That's harsh.

    I kept a secret for a while in my teens. I have a genetic defect as a third nipple. I refused to take my shirt off when swimming or under any other circumstances while around other people.

    I kept a relationship a secret from common friends for years to please him. All the while, being promised it would be fixed. He's now dating an ex friend.
